The 2014 Salmon Dinner is just around the corner! Click here to learn more.
The Antigonish area is blessed with several healthy rivers and streams, which have become synonymous with trout and salmon fishing. Anglers far and wide travel to our beautiful part of the province to fish trophy sized sea-run brook, brown and rainbow trout throughout the fishing season.
Whether it be on the West river, South river or other stream, when the air cools and the leaves begin to fall anglers turn to the fall run of Atlantic salmon, with specimens in the 10-15lb class common and salmon in the 20-30lb class not unheard of. Be sure to take advantage of our special winter angling seasons on Cameron and Gillis lakes. Our organization encourages everyone to grab a fishing rod, get outdoors and experience the fabulous resource, of which we are so proud.
